The Visual Merchandising (VM) Manager is tasked with creating visually appealing store displays that align with the brand's identity and marketing objectives. This role involves planning, designing, and implementing visual merchandising strategies to enhance customer experience and drive sales. The VM Manager leads a team of visual merchandisers and works closely with marketing, sales, and store management teams to ensure cohesive, brand-aligned product presentation across all stores.

Key Responsibilities:

Visual Merchandising Strategy and Planning
Develop and execute a comprehensive visual merchandising strategy to align with the brand's marketing goals and seasonal campaigns.
Plan and oversee the installation of store displays, layouts, signage, and fixtures for both new and existing stores.
Analyze sales data and industry trends to adjust merchandising strategies based on consumer behavior and market demand.
Design and Display Creation
Design eye-catching product displays and layouts that highlight key products, promotions, and seasonal themes.
Create visual concepts for window displays, in-store displays, and signage that attract customer attention and promote specific products or collections.
Ensure brand consistency across all visual displays and in-store environments.
Team Management and Training
Lead, train, and mentor a team of visual merchandisers, providing guidance on design principles, trends, and techniques.
Assign tasks and manage scheduling for the visual merchandising team, ensuring timely setup of displays.
Conduct training sessions for store staff on visual merchandising standards to ensure displays remain appealing and on-brand.
Collaboration with Other Departments
Work closely with the marketing, sales, and product teams to coordinate displays and ensure alignment with advertising and promotional activities.
Collaborate with store managers to implement visual changes and manage any space or display adjustments.
Coordinate with suppliers, fixture providers, and designers for custom display materials when needed.
Budget Management
Develop and manage the visual merchandising budget, ensuring cost-effective use of resources for display materials and visual enhancements.
Source and negotiate with vendors for display fixtures, signage, and materials to achieve high-quality results within budget constraints.
Store Visits and Quality Control
Regularly visit stores to assess visual merchandising standards and identify areas for improvement.
Ensure all stores are adhering to established visual standards and that displays are clean, organized, and in good condition.
Provide feedback and recommendations to improve store layouts and optimize product positioning.
Key Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business or a related field.
Experience: At least 3-5 years of experience in visual merchandising, with at least 2 years in a managerial role, preferably within the retail industry.
Skills:
Strong sense of creativity and an eye for design, color, and layout.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work with cross-functional teams.
Strong project management skills to handle multiple store rollouts and seasonal display changes.
Proficiency in design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite) and familiarity with visual merchandising tools and fixtures.
Physical Requirements: Ability to handle physical tasks, such as lifting, bending, and setting up displays as needed.
Additional Preferred Skills:

Knowledge of local and international fashion and retail trends.
Experience in digital and interactive merchandising techniques.
This position plays a significant role in enhancing the brand's physical presence and creating a visually appealing shopping experience that attracts and retains customers.
