Ultimately, as a Video Editor, you should be able to bring sight and sound together in order to tell a cohesive story.RESPONSIBILITIES:Manipulate and edit film pieces in a way that is invisible to the audienceTake a brief to grasp company needs and specificationsTrim footage segments and put together the sequence of the film if neededInput music, dialogues, graphics and effectsCreate rough and final cutsEnsure logical sequencing and smooth runningContinuously discover and implement new editing technologies and industry's best practices to maximize efficiency.REQUIREMENTS:Mac user preferred, knowledgeable in iMovie or Finalcut ProProven work experience as a Video EditorSolid experience with digital technology and editing software packagesDemonstrable video editing ability with a strong portfolioThorough knowledge of timing, motivation and continuityFamiliarity with special effects, 3D and compositingCreative mind and storytelling skillsTECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS:Must have a working PC/LAPTOPCore i3 and above (5th to 12th Gen) or AMD equivalent 8GB RAM and aboveWiFi connection with a minimum speed of 10mbpsWorking cameraNoise Cancellation Headset (you may use regular earphones or a headset yet for the initial interview)
