Job Description This is a remote position.
Work Schedule: Flexible, Monday–Friday between 9AM–6PM UK time (4 hours a day/20 hours a week) Responsibilities: Assemble raw footage and transfer or upload to a computer for editing. Follow scripts, screenplays, or outlines to structure content effectively. Edit footage specifically for social media platforms such as Instagram Reels, YouTube, and TikTok, ensuring it meets the format and style requirements for each. Input sound to enhance footage, including selecting appropriate music and adding voice-overs where necessary. Input graphics and text overlays to enhance visual storytelling and engagement for social media. Digitally splice film and video segments, synchronizing them into one cohesive file. Improve and correct lighting, coloring, and other technical aspects of footage to meet high-quality standards. Collaborate with the creative team to develop concepts and storyboards for video projects, including short-form social media content. Incorporate motion graphics and visual effects to enhance the overall quality of videos. Edit content for short-form platforms, ensuring optimal pacing, engagement, and audience retention. Manage and organize video files, ensuring they are easily accessible for future use and properly archived. Requirements Sample portfolio of previous video editing projects, including examples of social media content (Instagram Reels, YouTube, TikTok, etc.). Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro or Final Cut Pro. Proven experience as a Videographer/editor or similar role, with a focus on social media platforms. Strong knowledge of video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro or Final Cut Pro. Familiarity with motion graphics software like Adobe After Effects or Apple Motion. Solid understanding of composition, framing, and storytelling principles in videography. Experience editing short-form video content for social media with an emphasis on pacing, timing, and engagement. Excellent attention to detail and the ability to meet tight deadlines. Requirements
