This is a remote position.
Schedule: Part-time 20 hours per week or 4 hours per day Monday - Friday Flexible between 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM North Ryde time (or 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM Manila time) Client location or time zone: North Ryde, NSW - AEST Company/client overview: The client runs a business that has been operating for four years. He is also starting a new project. Both ventures require graphic design and video editing work. The client's business involves creating custom packaging for products, designing labels, and producing content for social media platforms including Facebook, TikTok, and Instagram. Responsibilities: Working with video editing tools such as CapCut or Final Cut Pro Inputting sound to enhance footage, which may include selecting music and writing voice-overs. Inputting graphics to enhance footage. Improving and correcting lighting, coloring, and faulty footage. Working closely with directors to present a final product that matches his or her vision. Incorporate motion graphics and visual effects to enhance the overall quality of the videos. Manage and organize video files, ensuring they are easily accessible for future use. Researching and staying up to date with recent trends on social media and trending video styles Requirements Computer with at least 16GB of RAM. If using Mac, M1 chip with at least 8GB of RAM. Sample portfolio of previous video editing projects or samples. Must have experience with Final Cut Pro or CapCut for video editing Experience creating engaging video ads for Meta and TikTok. Familiarity with ChatGPT and its application in content creation Proficiency in using Notion and Slack for communications and collaboration Strong understanding of social media platforms (Instagram & TikTok) and the best practices for video content on each. Extremely high attention to detail and organisational skills Proven experience as a videographer/editor or similar role. Solid understanding of composition, framing, and storytelling principles in videography. Excellent attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines. At least 50Mbps internet speed.
