This role is largely focused on content management and publishing for the YouTube presence of a large and dynamic B2B enterprise technology company. They will be the interface between content creation teams and landing content onto the platform that is on brand and optimized for performance. This candidate will work hand-in-hand with our SEO agency to manage the flow of content.
The candidate should demonstrate a deep understanding and experience with video and the YouTube platform. This position will interface with a large number of different stakeholders and teams and work closely with external agencies and an internal creative team, including videographers, designers and content creators. Professional writing skills are required.
Primary responsibilities:
? Manage YouTube channel content and content streams:
? Review videos for alignment with brand and content guidelines and provide written feedback to stakeholders when content is not aligned
to guidelines
? Upload and manage approved content on request
? Manage channel and playlist organization
? Create thumbnails from templates as needed
? Generate SEO rich titles and description content with CTAs in cooperation with content owners and other team members
? Set up video chaptering and other enhancements when appropriate or as needed
? Coordinate your efforts with other teams that will handle paid promotion and engagement
Must haves:
? Business-level proficiency in spoken and written English
? 5-7 years of experience in B2B digital marketing with expertise in YouTube content development and platform management
? Availability during business hours on Pacific Standard Time (PST) for meetings and emails
? Strong, professional communication skills when interfacing with a multitude of stakeholders
? Familiarity with the enterprise tech landscape: content, products, trends
Nice to have:
? Proficiency in video editing and software (Premiere, After Effects, Illustrator, Photoshop)
? Some experience with Figma
? Demonstrated mastery of SEO and YouTube platform best practices
? Ability to use analytics to generate strategic analysis and drive action
