Duties And Responsibilities Develop and implement comprehensive strategies for motorpool operations to align with the company's overall objectives. Lead the planning and execution of maintenance programs to ensure optimal vehicle performance and longevity. Drive initiatives for innovation, cost reduction, and operational efficiency. Oversee all aspects of vehicle and equipment maintenance, repair, and servicing. Ensure adherence to safety standards, regulatory compliance, and environmental guidelines. Monitor and manage the fleet management system to ensure timely updates and accuracy of data. Lead, mentor, and develop a team of engineers, technicians, and support staff. Implement training programs to enhance technical skills and knowledge. Foster a culture of continuous improvement and teamwork. Develop and manage the department's budget, ensuring cost-effective operations. Allocate resources effectively to meet operational demands and project timelines. Monitor expenditures and implement cost-saving measures without compromising quality. Stay updated with the latest advancements in vehicle engineering and fleet management technologies. Implement new technologies to improve efficiency, safety, and performance. Drive research and development initiatives to enhance the company's competitive edge. Collaborate with other departments, suppliers, and external partners to ensure seamless operations. Represent the company at industry conferences, trade shows, and professional associations. Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients and regulatory bodies. Develop key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of motorpool operations. Prepare and present regular reports on operational performance, cost management, and project progress to the executive team. Qualifications, Skills And Experience Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field. Minimum of 15 years of experience in motorpool or fleet management, with at least 5 years in an executive leadership role. Preferably with international work experience but not required. Deep understanding of vehicle maintenance, repair processes, and fleet management. Proven leadership and team management skills. Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities. Proficiency in fleet management software and related technologies. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Experience managing large-scale motorpool operations. Knowledge of the latest vehicle technologies and maintenance practices. Ability to adapt to changing industry trends and regulatory requirements.
