Responsibilities: Examine animals to assess their health, diagnose medical conditions, and provide treatment plans.Treat sick or injured animals by prescribing medication, dressing wounds, performing surgery, and setting bones.Administer vaccinations to prevent diseases and perform routine health checks.Prescribe medications and treatment plans for injured or sick animals.Educate the zoo workers and staff about diseases and infections that are transferable from animals to humans.Promote the health and wellness of animals by advising zoo workers and staff about sanitation measures, feeding, and general care.Ensure compliance with veterinary procedures, ethics, policies, and relevant statutes.Establish or carry out quarantine or testing procedures that combat the spread of diseases to humans or to other animals according to established government regulations.Handle emergency care, often including life-saving interventions or urgent surgeries.Monitor the recovery of animals after treatments or surgeries, ensuring proper post-operative care.Maintain detailed records of patient health histories, treatments, and progress.Stay updated on the latest veterinary research and advancements.QUALIFICATIONS: Compassionate and empathetic approach when dealing with animals and pet owners.Communication skills: Ability to clearly explain diagnoses and treatments to pet owners.Problem-solving skills: Ability to diagnose and treat a variety of conditions and handle emergencies.Knowledge of animal anatomy, physiology, and common diseases.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle emotional situations.Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.Must be willing to be assigned in Clark Freeport, Zone Pampanga.Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
