Veterinarian

Job Scope and Responsibilities: Provide initial treatment and conduct physical examinations for patients. Diagnose medical conditions of animals and administer appropriate treatments. Conduct consultations, diagnoses, treatments, and discuss rehabilitation options with pet owners. Prescribe, dispense, or administer medications and treatments for pets' injuries or diseases. Perform diagnostic and laboratory procedures with and without supervision. Assist veterinary surgeons during surgeries, pre-confinement, confinement, and discharge. If assigned, perform surgeries under the supervision and approval of the Senior Partner/Senior Veterinarian. Oversee hospitalized patients, ensuring proper medication and monitoring recovery of post-operative patients. Follow up on cases to ensure patient progress after discharge or clinic visits. Coordinate with attending or senior veterinarians on patient progress and treatment updates for owners. Create yearly treatment schedules (vaccinations, etc.) for patients. Remind clients of upcoming procedures or treatments for their pets. Demonstrate knowledge of proper restraining techniques with or without technician assistance. Perform other clinical tasks according to hospital protocols. Qualifications: Possess a Professional License (Passed Board/Bar/Professional License Exam). Animal and clinical experience preferred but not required. Job Type: Full-time
