Vet Assistant

**Requirements**:

- At least 1 year experience
- Excellent communication skills
- Lab tech experience is a plus
- Pleasing personality

**Responsibilities**:

- Assist the Resident Veterinarian on the following activities:

- Performing surgery, dressing and treating wounds, performing injectable

treatments and prescribing medication;
- Recording of client and pet information
- Restraining of patients undergoing treatment or procedures
- Handling, cleaning, and maintaining the different tools, equipment and materials used by the resident veterinarian
- Preparing the different rooms together as well as the materials and tools needed prior to a procedure
- Cleaning, maintaining, and sanitizing the different rooms and areas of the clinic
