Your role will include assisting management in overseeing daily operations, housekeeping, and maintenance teams, ultimately ensuring an outstanding guest experience.
Stepping into this position means that no two days will be exactly alike as you schedule preventative maintenance or cleanings with our housekeeping and maintenance teams. You'll also engage with guests, recruit and work with vendors, and help us as we continue to develop processes to improve our efficiency. RESPONSIBILITIES: Oversee preventative maintenance, including HVAC services, battery changes, and deep cleaning, in coordination with cleaning and maintenance teams. Manage and troubleshoot repairs and maintenance issues reported by guests or the operations team, including but not limited to internet, television, and air conditioning problems, ensuring efficient resolution through the appropriate teams. Input and manage maintenance tickets within the Breezway operations system and document property amenities and mechanics for streamlined troubleshooting and guest support. Engage with guests by promptly addressing inquiries, answering questions about the property, nearby attractions, and dining options, and utilizing feedback for property improvement recommendations. File damage claims and monitor guest compliance with property policies regarding parties, extra guests, or unauthorized pets to ensure safety and standards are maintained. Recruit and coordinate with vendors and cleaning staff to ensure well-maintained properties, including scheduling cleanings and inspections to uphold quality standards. Develop and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to enhance operational efficiency and guest satisfaction. QUALIFICATIONS: 2+ years of management experience is a plus, preferably in the vacation rental or hospitality industry. Prior housekeeping/maintenance experience is a plus. Computer skills are required on all forms of hardware - laptops, tablets, and mobile devices. Fluent in English - able to communicate professionally through email, phone, video, and texts. Must have reliable internet and the ability to work well under pressure in an agile, fast-paced environment. Highly responsive, reliable, and possess strong attention to detail. Experience with Airbnb, VRBO, and Breezeway is preferred. COMPENSATION & BENEFITS: Monthly Salary: $1,000 - $1,400 per month based on achievement and experience
