Job Summary: As a Utility Worker, you will support various operational tasks within the organization, ensuring the facility runs smoothly and efficiently.
You will assist in maintenance, cleaning, and other support functions, contributing to a safe and organized work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• General Maintenance: Assist with routine maintenance tasks, including repairs, cleaning, and upkeep of facilities and equipment.
• Cleaning and Sanitation: Perform cleaning duties in assigned areas, including restrooms, common areas, and workspaces, to maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards.
• Material Handling: Help with the loading and unloading of supplies, equipment, and materials as needed, ensuring proper storage and organization.
• Support Operations: Assist various departments with tasks such as setting up for events, moving furniture, or delivering supplies.
• Safety Compliance: Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others.
• Inventory Management: Help monitor and maintain inventory levels of cleaning supplies and maintenance materials.
• Reporting Issues: Notify supervisors of any maintenance needs, safety hazards, or equipment malfunctions.
Qualifications:
• Previous experience in a utility, maintenance, or labor role preferred.
• Basic knowledge of cleaning and maintenance practices.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety.
• Physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks, including lifting and standing for extended periods.
Physical Requirements:
• Ability to lift up to 50kgs.
• Ability to perform repetitive motions and work in various environmental conditions.
