The Email Marketing Specialist will plan, develop, and execute TrustNet's email marketing campaigns, which engage B2B prospects, nurture leads, and drive conversions for high-value accounts.

This role requires close collaboration with sales and marketing teams to deliver highly personalized, targeted emails that support demand generation and account-specific engagement for cybersecurity and compliance services.


Job Duties


Email Campaign Strategy & Execution:

Develop and implement email marketing strategies that support the company's B2B objectives, focusing on technology and cybersecurity solutions.
Design, build, and execute segmented email campaigns that target specific buyer personas (e.g., IT decision-makers and CISOs, Compliance Officers, CXOs/MDs)
Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to create email workflows, drip campaigns, and personalized messages targeting high-value accounts.


Account-Based Marketing (ABM) Email Campaigns:

Partner with sales and marketing teams to develop highly targeted, account-specific email campaigns to engage and convert decision-makers within key accounts.
Leverage ABM data and insights to create tailored email content that speaks directly to specific accounts' pain points, needs, and priorities.
Use email to support broader ABM initiatives, including personalized brand and product introductions, webinars, case studies, and account-specific offers.
Track and optimize email performance to ensure high engagement and alignment with ABM goals.


Email Content Creation & Personalization:

Craft compelling email copy that drives engagement and resonates with the technical audience, emphasizing cybersecurity challenges, compliance issues, and risk management.
Personalize email messages using dynamic content, segmentation, and behavioral data to create individualized experiences for different audience segments.
Collaborate with the content and design teams to develop visually engaging email templates, graphics, and CTAs that align with the brand.
Ensure all email content is aligned with the company's messaging, tone, and cybersecurity industry trends.


List Segmentation & Data Management:

Build and maintain clean, segmented email lists based on industry, role, account tier, and engagement history.
Use CRM data, engagement metrics, and ABM tools to refine audience segmentation and ensure email messages are targeted effectively to the right personas.
Continuously update and optimize email lists to improve deliverability, engagement rates, and conversion performance.
Ensure compliance with GDPR, CAN-SPAM, and other relevant email regulations.


Campaign Performance Tracking & Optimization:

Monitor key email marketing metrics, including open rates, click-through rates, bounce rates, and conversion rates.
Conduct A/B testing on subject lines, content, and CTAs to identify the most effective strategies for different audience segments and accounts.
Use analytics tools to assess the impact of email campaigns on lead nurturing, pipeline development, and revenue generation.
Provide regular reports and insights to the marketing and sales teams, highlighting areas of success and opportunities for improvement.
Report Results to the Marketing and Sales leadership.


Lead Nurturing & Drip Campaigns:

Develop and execute lead nurturing email sequences that guide prospects through the buyer's journey, from engagement to decision-making.
Create drip campaigns to nurture and educate leads on cybersecurity topics, solution benefits, and compliance requirements.
Align email content with broader inbound and outbound marketing efforts, ensuring a cohesive experience for prospects and customers.
Support sales by providing email sequences facilitating outreach and follow-up on key accounts.


Collaboration with Cross-functional Teams:

Work closely with sales and marketing teams to align email campaigns with broader marketing initiatives, product launches, and sales goals.
Collaborate with the marketing team to integrate email campaigns with organic and paid media strategies for a unified marketing approach.
Partner with the product marketing team to ensure that email messaging effectively communicates the value of cybersecurity solutions to different buyer personas.


Marketing Automation & Technology:

Leverage email marketing automation platforms to create scalable, automated email campaigns.
Use CRM tools (e.g., Pipedrive) to track and analyze lead behavior, ensuring that email marketing efforts are integrated with sales outreach.
Stay up-to-date on the latest email marketing best practices, automation tools, and ABM technologies to improve campaign performance.


Required Qualifications:



Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field. A background in technology, cybersecurity, or ABM is preferred.
3-5 years of experience in B2B email marketing, preferably in the technology or cybersecurity industries.
Strong experience in Account-Based Marketing (ABM) and email campaign personalization for targeted accounts.
Proficiency with email marketing automation platforms and CRM systems.
Proven ability to craft compelling, personalized email content tailored to B2B audiences and industry verticals.
Strong understanding of segmentation, list building, and data-driven marketing strategies.
Knowledge of cybersecurity industry challenges and compliance standards (e.g., ISO 27001, SOC, PCI DSS, penetration testing, risk assessment).
Experience with email performance tracking, analytics, and A/B testing to optimize campaigns.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a keen attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.


Preferred Skills:

Familiarity with ABM tools and platforms and their integration into email marketing campaigns.
Knowledge of lead scoring models and how they can be integrated into email workflows.
Understanding of email compliance regulations, including GDPR, CAN-SPAM, and CCPA.
Basic design skills for developing visually engaging email templates.
