The Head of Media is responsible for developing, leading, and managing TrustNet's paid media strategy and operations to ensure the brand's and its products' successful promotion across various media channels. This role involves managing relationships and exploring ad technology platforms for media buying and data partnerships, ensuring the successful deployment of paid media initiatives and optimizing paid media campaigns, overseeing creative production of media ads, and working closely with internal teams to align paid media strategies with broader marketing objectives.

You will play a crucial role in expanding TrustNet's reach, increasing engagement, and driving ROI from media investments.


Job Duties

Media Strategy Development:

Create and execute a comprehensive paid media strategy aligning with the company's overarching marketing and business goals.
Support in identifying B2B target audiences relevant to the brand and its products and selecting appropriate media channels to reach them effectively (e.g., paid search, social, display, programmatic).
Allocate and manage the media budget to maximize impact and ROAS/ROI.


Media Planning and Buying:

Create the overall media plan, including negotiating media and audience data buys with partners.
Monitor trends in media consumption and adapt strategies to stay ahead of the competition.


Campaign Management:

Work with the campaign operations team to manage cross-channel paid media campaigns (social media, display, paid search, programmatic).
Coordinate with the creative team to ensure cohesive messaging across all paid media channels.


Analytics and Optimization:

Track media campaign performance using media KPIs and adjust strategies as needed to improve effectiveness. Create A/B or multivariate testing frameworks to drive insight and learning.
Use data analytics tools to evaluate media performance and provide insights to the marketing team.
Report media performance results to the Marketing Director.


Team and Partner Management:

Lead a team of campaign managers, providing mentorship and overseeing performance.
Manage relationships with media buying ad tech partners, ensuring their work aligns with organizational objectives.
Collaborate with other marketing team members on other marketing initiatives (e.g., SEO, Content, Creative, Social, PR), cross-functional teams in sales, and other key stakeholders.


Compliance and Risk Management:

Ensure all media activities comply with legal, ethical, and regulatory standards.
Manage media-related risks, including brand safety and reputation management.


Required Qualifications :

Experience

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or a related field.
8+ years of experience in media planning, buying, or strategy, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
Expertise in paid digital media, including paid search, display, social media, and programmatic advertising.
Proven experience managing extensive media budgets and delivering ROI.
Strong analytical skills and experience with media insight and analytics tools.
Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.


Knowledge and Skills

Proficiency in media platforms such as Google Ads and LinkedIn Business Manager.
Proficiency in relevant ad tech media partners for audience targeting, media buying, and insights.
Proficiency in analytics and reporting tools such as Google Analytics.
Knowledge of B2B and Account-Based Marketing.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Preferred Qualifications

Prior experience in media planning and buying and managing media operation teams.
Prior experience in the tech industry, particularly in cybersecurity or compliance.
