The Tech and Data Specialist has a strong background and expertise in tracking, tagging, and analytics implementation. The ideal candidate deeply understands CRM systems, marketing automation tools, and digital analytics platforms.
In this role, you will manage the technical execution of tracking, tagging, and data collection across TrustNet's digital channels to ensure seamless and accurate marketing performance measurement. You will work closely with the marketing and sales teams to support media campaigns, optimize CRM systems, and ensure seamless platform integration.
Job Duties
Tracking and Tagging Implementation:
Develop and implement tracking and tagging strategies for websites, landing pages, and digital media campaigns to ensure accurate data collection.
Set up and maintain Google Tag Manager (GTM) and other tag management systems to support campaign tracking and analytics needs.
Collaborate with marketing and development teams to ensure proper placement of tags, pixels, and tracking codes for campaigns across all digital platforms.
Troubleshoot and resolve any tracking or tagging issues to ensure data accuracy and consistency across campaigns.
Analytics & Data Collection:
Manage the implementation of digital analytics tools (Google Analytics) to measure website performance, user behavior, and campaign effectiveness.
Ensure all media campaigns are properly tracked with UTM parameters, conversion pixels, and other tracking mechanisms.
Work with marketing and sales teams to analyze data, create reports, and provide actionable insights based on key performance indicators (KPIs).
Continuously monitor analytics platforms for data accuracy and identify opportunities for optimization in campaign performance.
Media Campaign Support:
Implement tracking solutions for paid media campaigns (social media, display, search, programmatic) to ensure conversion tracking, retargeting, and audience segmentation.
Provide technical support for the marketing team during campaign launches, ensuring proper tracking and data collection from all paid channels.
Monitor media campaign performance through tracking dashboards and analytics platforms, ensuring that data aligns with key business objectives.
Assist in A/B or multivariate testing to improve campaign effectiveness based on data-driven insights.
CRM and Marketing Automation Integration:
Work with CRM systems (Pipedrive) to ensure seamless integration with marketing automation platforms and accurate data flow between systems.
Manage CRM data hygiene and integrity by implementing proper tagging, segmentation, and data governance practices.
Collaborate with the marketing team to implement workflows, lead scoring, and audience segmentation for personalized marketing campaigns.
Campaign and Website Tagging Optimization:
Optimize tracking mechanisms to improve campaign performance measurement and audience insights for both media and website analytics.
Review and refine tagging setups regularly to align with marketing goals, campaign objectives, and business strategies.
Conduct regular audits of tracking systems to ensure full coverage of media assets, landing pages, and website user flows.
Implement event tracking, goal setting, and funnel analysis to identify opportunities for improving user experiences and campaign outcomes.
Data Reporting & Insights:
Build custom dashboards and reports using Google Data Studio, Tableau, or other visualization tools to provide insights on campaign performance, audience behavior, and ROI.
Work with cross-functional teams to deliver insights into media campaign performance, including traffic, engagement, conversions, and attribution.
Provide actionable recommendations based on data analysis to optimize future campaigns, improve targeting, and enhance user experiences.
Support the marketing team with performance reports for stakeholder presentations, outlining key successes, challenges, and optimization opportunities.
Collaboration and Stakeholder Management:
Collaborate with marketing and analytics teams to ensure alignment on campaign goals, KPIs, and tracking requirements.
Work closely with developers and IT teams to ensure that tracking and analytics implementations are technically sound and aligned with marketing objectives.
Serve as the point person for troubleshooting technical tracking, tagging, and campaign measurement issues.
Communicate technical insights and analytics findings clearly to non-technical stakeholders, ensuring transparency and understanding.
Compliance and Data Privacy:
Ensure that all tracking, tagging, and data collection activities comply with relevant data privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA, etc.).
Implement consent management solutions to ensure that user data is collected and used in compliance with global privacy standards.
Regularly review and update tagging and tracking systems to meet new data protection requirements and maintain user trust.
Required Qualifications
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field. A background in technology, data analytics, or digital marketing is preferred.
3-5 years of experience in digital analytics, tagging, and tracking for marketing campaigns, preferably in a B2B or tech-driven environment.
Strong understanding of web analytics tools (Google Analytics) and experience implementing tracking and tagging through Google Tag Manager (GTM).
Proficiency in managing CRM systems (Pipedrive) and marketing automation platforms.
Familiarity with tracking and reporting tools such as Google Data Studio, Tableau, or Power BI for creating dashboards and reports.
Experience with media campaign tracking (e.g., Google Ads, LinkedIn) and setting up UTM parameters, pixels, and conversion tracking.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, generate insights, and make data-driven decisions.
Basic knowledge of HTML, JavaScript, and other web technologies for troubleshooting tracking issues.
Ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple projects with competing priorities.
Attention to detail, accuracy, and an analytical mindset
Previous experience working in a cybersecurity company is a plus
Preferred Skills:
Familiarity with A/B testing tools and framework for conversion rate optimization and testing campaign variations.
Experience with SEO tools and their integration with marketing analytics platforms.
Knowledge of data privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA) and experience implementing privacy-compliant tracking solutions.
Basic SQL skills for querying databases and integrating marketing data.
