Responsibilities
• Be customers trusted advisor on designing Linux based solutions and leveraging AEVENs operational capabilities• Consult clients on security, availability, and disaster recovery solutions• Participate in customer projects of various scales• Ensure smooth transition of customer IT systems to AEVENs operation• Bring in customer inspiration and new perspectives for AEVEN service development
Requirements
• Relevant bachelor's degree and technical certifications• Extensive knowledge of UNIX/Linux administration• Minimum 5 years of solid working experience with UNIX/Linux• Understanding of core system components of Unix/Linux operating systems• Proficiency in writing/debugging shell scripts• Experience with Red Hat or SUSE Enterprise Linux• Familiarity with one or more Cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS)• Knowledge of basic ITIL processes• Nice to have: RHCA (Redhat certification), HP-UX, Solaris, SLES, Ubuntu• Nice to have: Veritas cluster/file system, PowerHA, scripting with Ansible• Nice to have: Experience with SAN/NAS and other storage technologies, Symantec NetBackup, HP Enclosure and HP Tools (iLO and OA), ability to explain technical matters to non-technical management
