Underwriting (Risk Inspector)

Primarily responsible for the proper fire inspection and assessment of risks hazards to guide the Underwriters in determining the adequate rate. Prepares property survey report and recommends loss prevention measures.**DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES**- Conducts risk inspection requested by sales/Clients.- Indicates the correct locations (block number/geo code) of the risk and provides building description, boundaries and occupancy of the inspected risks.- Analyses risks, describe special hazards involve, specify fire exposure and general condition of the risk.- Recommends acceptability of risks exposed to allied perils.- Recommends loss preventive measures and fire protection appliance to clients.- Prepare accurate and fair inspection reports to give to underwriters a sound basis for evaluation.- Monitors and submit monthly report on various risk inspected (TAT reports).- Can able to work and perform other duties and task, as may be assigned from time to time.- Specify prominent undesirable features of the risk and loss possibilities by proper risk assessment, and to monitor loss possibilities to make the risk appropriate, desirable and acceptable.- Adherence to Survey turn-Around-Time, Internal Audit and on Compliance procedures of the Company.- On time submission of the survey report.**QUALIFICATIONS**- Graduate of any 4-years course (Business/Engineering Degree)- Has technical knowledge in risk survey and engineering services (inspection)- Good on both oral and written communication skills.- Non-life underwriting knowledge.- Investigate & analytical skills.- Has attended various non-life insurance seminars.- Computer literate- Good moral conduct**Benefits**:- Company events- Health insurance- Life insurance- Opportunities for promotionSchedule:- 8 hour shiftSupplemental pay types:- Quarterly bonus- Yearly bonus
