• Assume full responsibility for all logistics operations within the organization, overseeing every aspect of the supply chain process.
• Provide guidance, direction, and support to team members, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Develop and implement strategies to optimize logistics processes, streamline operations, and improve efficiency.
• Identify areas for improvement and implement solutions to enhance productivity, reduce costs, and minimize waste.:
• Manage relationships with suppliers, and other external partners to ensure the smooth flow of goods throughout the supply chain.
• Ensure all trucks are in pristine condition and free of any defects including implementing of inventory control measures to minimize excess inventory, and obsolescence.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the performance of logistics operations.
• Analyze data and generate reports to track performance, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and company policies related to logistics operations.
• Implement risk management strategies to mitigate potential disruptions and minimize operational risks.
• Leverage technology and logistics software systems to automate processes, improve visibility, and enhance decision-making.
• Stay abreast of technological advancements and best practices in logistics management.
• Contribute to the development of strategic plans and initiatives to drive business growth and achieve organizational objectives.
• Execute strategic initiatives related to logistics operations, aligning activities with corporate goals and objectives.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure alignment and integration of logistics activities with overall business operations.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the logistics team, encouraging innovation, creativity, and problem-solving.
• Regularly review processes, procedures, and performance metrics to identify opportunities for optimization and enhancement.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Candidate must be graduate of BS in Business Administration Logistics or Engineering, Logistic/Transportation Commerce, or similar diploma programs.
• Must have at least 5 years of experience in a logistics or trucking company.
• Must have good leadership skills, communication skills, and team management experience.
• Target driven, and eager to get things done once target is set
• Knowledgeable in vehicle maintenance
• Proficient in Microsoft application with relevant experience in CONTAINER AND PORT TRANSACTIONS
• Must be willing to be assigned in Bulacan
