TRUCKING/DISPATCH MANAGER
Job description
Logistics is an increasingly prevalent term in business. It's about getting the product to the customer in
the most efficient, timely, and cost-effective manner. Transport and logistics managers play a key role in
fulfilling our clients' promises to their customers and in meeting those customers' expectations. They
are responsible for managing the execution, direction, and coordination of all transportation matters
within the organization. This includes managing budgets, organizing schedules & routes, ensuring that
vehicles are safe and meet legal requirements, and making sure that drivers are aware of their duties.
Logistics:
? Performs the daily morning maintenance meeting and drivers' pre-operation meeting for
dispatch planning, and scheduling of drivers, helpers, operators, and riggers for bookings and
updates to the top management.
? Coordinate trips and dispatch trucks according to daily logistics requirements, monitor and
report daily trip progress, manage trucking operations by creating timetables, handling route
delays, and dealing with incidents and/or other emergencies.
? Ensure that before dispatch of drivers, trucks are in all good running condition; Coordinate to
Maintain documents and records related to dispatch activities.
? Ensures that the pre-departure and post-departure checklists are filled out are strictly
implemented.
? Well-versed in dispatching, truck monitoring (through GPS), and updating truck availability and
its condition.
? Coordinates with other departments concerning joint bookings, monitors the execution of the
project-specific movement of delivery schedules and defines objectives and timelines.
? Working on keeping an accurate record of all equipment at the site, ensuring it returned in good
condition.
? Establishes and implements safe work procedures (including risk assessments) for all lifting
operations to minimize the risk of injury or property damages under the country's workplace
safety and health regulations.
? Monitors booking of Tabs for Import and Export transactions
? Monitor and check the movement/status of trucking personnel and vehicles to ensure
compliance with to dispatch plan.
? Records and monitors diesel consumption at Harbor and Yards. Prepares daily and
weekly reports of diesel consumption of each unit.
? Manage personnel workloads, schedules, tasks, and other related functions.
? Develops and provides appropriate training for team members to enable them to improve and
achieve their objectives whilst effectively contributing to business performance.
? Coordinate with Human Resources for lacking resources (Drivers, Technicians, others), conduct
interviews, monitor the team's performance, and handle paperwork related to the manpower.
? Strictly implements Saturday washing of all units.
? Other duties as regularly assigned.

Graduate of a Customs Admin or any other related courses
SALARY RANGE: Php40,000 - 50,000
WORK SCHEDULE: MONDAY-SATURDAY (8:30 am - 6:00 pm)
WORK LOCATION: Makiling, Calamba Office/Yard
