The Treasury and Banking Analyst responsibilities span in various financial functions, including liquidity management, risk mitigation, and financial planning. The job is in Taguig City, Philippines, and offers a Hybrid Work Arrangement.
Key job responsibilities: Cash Management: Monitor daily cash positions, forecast cash flow, and execute timely funding and disbursements to meet operational requirements.Banking Relationships: Maintain relationships with banks and financial institutions, negotiate bank fees and assess banking services to ensure cost-effectiveness and efficiency.Payments and Transactions: Oversee the processing of payments, including wire transfers, ACH transactions, and checks.Reconciliations: Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies promptly.Treasury Operations: Support treasury functions, including cash forecasting, investment management, foreign exchange transactions, and debt management.Analyze market trends and recommend strategies to optimize financial performance and mitigate currency and interest rate risks.Reporting and Analysis: Prepare periodic reports on cash positions, liquidity, banking activities, and treasury performance indicators.Conduct financial analysis and provide insights to management regarding cash flow forecasting, investment opportunities, and risk management strategies.Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with internal stakeholders, such as finance, accounting, HR, reporting and procurement teams, to ensure smooth coordination and alignment of banking and treasury operations.Deal with internal / external audit requests related to bank controls.Internal Control: Develop and implement treasury policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal controls. Continuous improvement: Identify process improvement opportunities and implement changes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness within the treasury function. Key job requirements: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.Proven experience in banking operations, treasury management, or related financial roles within the banking or corporate sector.Solid understanding of banking products, payment systems, and financial regulations.Proficient in using treasury management systems, banking platforms, and MS Office applications.Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and perform cash flow forecasting.Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial transactions and reconciliations.Knowledge of risk management practices, compliance frameworks, and internal control procedures.Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with stakeholders at various levels.Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing business requirements in a fast-paced environment. Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills for managing banking relationships.
