Transport Officer

The 3PL Transport Officer shall be in charge of supervising driver's performance, allocating driver assignments, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and maintaining all vehicles in top working order. He shall also manage databases that detail transport activities, employee schedules and personnel records.
\n Responsibilities:Vehicle booking to designated vendors based on the approved requests of each departmentEnsures only approved vehicle requests are booked and deployedEnsures ordered/booked vehicles arrives on time at the requesting party/origin hubEnsures correctness of booked/deployed vehicle vs actual vehicle type requestedWork closely with the transport billing team in assisting on the reverse billing data or fulfilled trip validation Communication between the 3pl partners and end_users/requestorsHandle issues and operational challenges relating to 3pl and proper reportingLeads the compliance in the timely and correct updating of the trucklogs from the transport side up to the end_users acknowledgementTimely and proper escalation of challenges which he/she sees deemed beyond his/her capacity as a transport coordinator. Qualifications:Candidate must possess at least a Vocational Diploma/Short Course Certificate related to Transport or Distribution ManagementAt least 2 years' relevant experience, from Freight Forwarding and 3PL industry. Good communication skills, both verbal and writtenExperience in booking 3pl and answering query of delivery.Willing to work in Cabuyao
