Training Tracking Specialist
Job Description
The Training Tracking Specialist - CLE & Mandatory Training will be responsible for Continuing Legal Education (CLE) compliance administration and operational support for the firm's mandatory training framework globally.
The role holder will provide support for processes to ensure that people comply with mandated training and that lawyers complete training requirements to maintain the right to practice in all jurisdictions where there is a business need.
This role will administer CLE accreditation processes for live training events and the firm's eLearning catalogue.
Responsibilities
Maintains a thorough understanding of CLE compliance regulations in jurisdictions where the firm operatesSupports the Manager, HR Compliance Tracking to ensure that programs and materials meet accreditation requirements across multiple jurisdictionsSupport to lawyers and clients with CLE credit tracking and reportingAssists the Manager, HR Compliance Tracking with the scheduling and prioritization of mandatory coursesOngoing maintenance of mandatory course rosters, the escalation of non-compliance and reportingLiaison with HR Operations Delivery (HROD) team to ensure that the Learning Management System (LMS) accurately reflects program and CLE accreditation detailsPartner with HROD L&D team on delivery of mandatory training and legal education courses ensuring consistencyProvide back-up support for lawyer bar admission tracking
Requirements
3 - 5 years of relevant experience with compliance tracking in a global firmFamiliarity with CLE rules and mandatory minimum requirements in legal jurisdictions where the firm has a physical presencePrevious experience with learning management systems, in particular viLMS CLEKnowledge of compliance/mandatory training protocolsExperience working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment is essentialCritical thinking and problem-solving skillsAbility to be flexible and handle multiple large projectsSelf-starter, able to drive and manage global projects with limited directionStrong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work quickly and efficiently, prioritizing a varied workload with multiple stakeholders and shifting demandsDemonstrate strong problem-solving skills, process-driven mindset, resourcefulness and ability to meet responsibilities with minimal direct supervisionAbility to manage stakeholder expectations by understanding stakeholder needs, determining alternatives to meet requirements and communicating appropriatelyExcellent verbal and written communication as well as receptive listening skills, with ability to present complex ideas in a clear, concise fashion to technical and non-technical audiences, at all levelsAccountable team player with a constructive attitude, problem-solving and customer success mindset able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with a geographically dispersed teamHigh degree of confidentiality needed Work Setup:
