Training Coordinator /Specialist

Learning & Development

Works with the Training Manager in the design, delivery and implementation of learning interventions, including face-to-face, virtual and elearning courses.
Administers regular, detailed needs assessments to identify knowledge and skills deficits.
Implements the learning and development plan by organizing training activities, searching for providers, assessing proposals, establishing and negotiating new training contracts based on Finance requirements.
Develops and designs learning materials, instructional manuals, onboarding materials, and other relevant documentation, reviews educational content, and incorporates current technology in developing specific eLearning curricula.
Supports the deployment of learning programs including uploading and updating courses and curricula, training assignments, learner notification in LMS.
Sends communications to all staff and managers to run the training programs efficiently.
Facilitates live and recorded training, including new employee induction.
Evaluates the effectiveness of the training modules, makes necessary revisions (ie. content, additional topics, methodology, duration etc.) and provides recommendations to improve existing programs.
Prepares post-training reports and develops custom reports by utilizing LMS reporting capabilities to assist with planning and managing the company's training and development initiatives.
Coordinates external training as the need arises.


Bachelor's/College Degree in Education, Psychology, Human Resource Management, Mass Communication or equivalent
At least 1 year (1) of working experience in corporate HR function, preferably in Training & Development or Organizational Development.
Must have a working knowledge of various Adult Learning principles and methods
Must have a sound understanding of the Training Cycle (training needs analysis, design, development, evaluation, including administration & records management)
Ability to conduct thorough needs assessments to gauge training needs.
Experience in eLearning Design
