Training Coordinator

Job Details:Maintains the list of sea staff with recommendation for promotion. Assists, from a training perspective, in transition planning for promotions of the crew.Assists in the identification and evaluation of the company's training needs and objectives.Maintains the training schedule, in liaison with Fleet Manager. Maintains the Training Needs based on information obtained from Sign off Interviews.Coordinates, prepares, and updates competence documentation. Assists in the creation and implementation of training plans for newly hired seafarers based on STCW and company standards.Assists in organizing seafarers conferences, training sessions and other company specific courses in coordination with the principal.Facilitates the administrative requirements of In-house training and likewise coordination/arrangement of out-sourced training.Maintains an updated record of all training materials, equipment, and other related training resources.Responsible for maintenance of training records for sea staff. Makes all arrangements in connection with courses (enrollment, travel, hotel, information etc)Follow up on training courses in connection with various projects. Provides appropriate personnel information into Crewing System, in respect of courses and training matters.Ensures relevant scanned documents are entered in the Crewing System.
