**Job Summary**:
As Training and Skills Development Head
- Relevant background in hands on mechanical or electrical training courses needed is order to:
- Direct the implementation of the training calendar and the training curriculum through the Training Instructors
- If necessary, participate in conducting actual training classes, whether in the classroom or workshop
- Work with Instructors to periodically review training course content, curriculum and teaching methods.
Make adjustments to these as necessary.
- Closely coordinates with the Corp HR office and the Plants ensuring that the training framework and curriculum are up-to-date and relevant to current operations and company needs
- Gathers data and prepares relevant reports on trainee outputs, feedback on training content and teaching methods, and overall training results; for the purpose of continual improvement and updating
- Liaises, collaborates, and networks with relevant government institutions and external industry players to benchmark best practices and latest technologies and tools.
As Human Resources Head
- Executes performance appraisal of employees
- Implements health and safety programs through close coordination with the Training Center health officer
- Ensures that the skills and knowledge of the Training Instructors are up-to-date with current industry and regulatory practices and requirements
- Oversees the general well-being and learning of all trainees.
Address complaints and concerns, or, if necessary, raises them to Corporate Human Resources.
As Management Representative and Administrative Head
- In charge of maintenance and keeps security of all equipment, tools, supplies, and all materials used at the Training Center
- Represent the company in external invitations that need to be attended
- Implements approved administrative policies and procedures, including safety and security
- Prepares the annual operating budget for the Training Center including repair and maintenance.
Implements and monitors the same
- Validates and approves service requests concerning Training Center Administration before forwarding to Head Office
- Participates in the review of any contract concerning Building and Grounds repairs, maintenance or enhancement, recommends changes
- Coordinate tours as may be communicated by the Corporate Office, universities, and other establishments
- Ensures that uniforms, PPEs, office and cleaning supplies are delivered on time
- Creates building and grounds and facilities maintenance procedures
- Oversees all building and grounds maintenance activities; ensures completion as scheduled
- Conducts health, safety, and housekeeping inspections
- Recommends to the management any improvement in the facility that is needed concerning employees safety and other factors that may affect the working environment
**Qualifications**:
- With at least 15 years of professional experience in school administration, training and skills development, human resources, and operations
- Excellent management and leadership skills; With experience in coordinating with various government agencies and external industry partner
- With relevant experience in budget management, operations, and facilities management; Excellent people management skills
- Background in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering is an advantage
