We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our Trade & Promo Merchandising team as a Trade & Promo Merchandising Assistant. The Trade & Promo Merchandising Assistant will provide support in the planning and execution of trade marketing and promotional activities. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for driving sales and enhancing brand visibility.
Responsibilities: Assist in the development and implementation of trade marketing and promotional strategies to support sales objectives. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and product management, to ensure alignment of trade and promotional activities. Conduct market research and analyze consumer and competitor trends to identify opportunities for trade and promotional initiatives. Assist in the creation and distribution of promotional materials, such as point-of-sale displays, product samples, and promotional merchandise. Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of promotional materials and merchandise. Support the management of trade marketing budgets, including tracking expenses and ensuring cost-effectiveness. Monitor and analyze the performance of trade and promotional activities, providing insights and recommendations for optimization. Assist in coordinating trade shows, conferences, and other promotional events, including logistics, booth setup, and collateral preparation. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field. Previous experience in trade marketing, merchandising, or related roles is a plus. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Detail-oriented with strong organizational and project management abilities. Proficiency in MS Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint. Creative thinking and problem-solving skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Knowledge of retail and consumer goods industries is desirable.
