The Trade Marketing Team Lead situated within the Marketing department, is accountable for fostering business growth in their designated territory by focusing on consumer acquisition and retention. To achieve this, the role involves steering Retailer Distribution and Wholesale Volume with a Consumer-Centric approach. The incumbent will collaborate with Field Sales, assess challenges and opportunities, and formulate short and long-term strategies. These strategies will address business needs and contribute to achieving territory Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) with a focus on inclusive growth.
The responsibilities include spearheading the development and management of campaigns and programs across touchpoints such as General Trade Retailers, Wholesalers, Local Key Accounts, Designated Smoking Areas, and HORECA channels. The overarching objective is to enhance consumer acquisition and retention in the assigned territory.
Additionally, the role encompasses:
External (Nielsen) and Internal (Sales Data) Data Analysis Acting as a Conquer tools champion Conducting Competitive Analysis Monitoring Budget Creating internal documents such as contracts, project briefs, weekly reports, closure reports, and presentations during business reviews. Key Responsibilities:
1. Strategy & Campaign/Program Development: Analyze data, conduct competitive reviews, and gain insights to identify challenges and opportunities in the assigned territories. Develop short-term and long-term strategic action plans for JTI brands to enable business growth. 2. Leading Implementation: Secure project approval and operational mandatories for planned campaigns/programs. Ensure clarity of campaigns among front-liners. Develop campaign mechanics, spiel, and brief field sales for proper execution. Manage deployment and implementation of brand-led/field marketing-led activities. 3. Program Evaluation: Conduct regular surveys on campaign/program execution for compliance. Review performance versus objectives, overseeing, monitoring, and measuring execution success. 4. Territory Leadership: Support Brand and Field Marketing on New Product Launches. Develop consumer campaigns in pre-identified opportunity territories/barangays. Provide cross-functional support in understanding and developing an efficient route to consumers. 5. Resource Management: Manage assigned field marketing budget and deploy program tools and materials optimally. Establish strict management, control, and compliance for program enablers. 6. Other Tasks: Handle necessary ad hoc tasks arising from brand/competitive dynamics in the assigned territory. Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Marketing/Business/Communications. 2-3 years of experience in Sales, Trade/Channel Marketing, or Consumer Engagement. Strong communication skills in English and Filipino. Proficient in data gathering, analysis, project management, and Microsoft Office. Strong leadership skills, adaptability, and problem-solving abilities. Familiarity with digital tools and a proactive approach to generating and sharing ideas. Job Type: Full-time
