Position Summary:Major responsibilities of a Trade Compliance Analyst are the collection, organization, management, and analysis of vast amounts of data needed to develop and execute compliance strategies for Regal Rexnord and its divisions including USMCA, HTS/COO, Supply Chain Security for North America and other countries, and HTS Classification. She/He will provide support in ensuring compliance with customs and export regulations for the transportation organization of the division. She/He will also function as the identifier of savings opportunities, looking for business process improvements.
Major Responsibilities: Handle annual USMCA, CTPAT, COO & HTS Verification projects. It includes tariff verification/classification, certificate solicitation from vendors, audit and maintaining of records.Run Audit reports on United States imports. Investigate variances and advise Import/Export Compliance Manager of any issues. Handle corrective actions per instruction of Compliance Manager.Analyze parts and update in Oracle and/or Trade Automation (TA) the correct preferential and non-preferential country of origin.Handle supplier certification of origin and non-preferential database.Respond to requests for HTS classification of part numbers, review and maintenance of tariff classification database.Update the process documentation of various Trade Compliance reports.Perform Ad Hoc Tasks as Needed.Required Education / Experience / Skills: Bachelor of Science in Customs Administration.Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree.Licensed Broker is a plus.Knowledge and experience in tariff classification.Working knowledge on Supply chain/Logistics.Knowledgeable in import/export business with demonstrated knowledge of USMCA regulations and other US Free Trade Agreements.Detail-oriented and accurate.Proficient in MS Excel (including pivot tables), and MS PowerPoint.Well-developed analytical skills, articulate, innovative and confident.Flexible, able to work on own initiative, deal with more than one project at a time, can work under pressure and tight deadlines, and prioritize tasks accordingly.Very good communication skills, verbal and written.Self-starter and a strong team player.Travel: Willing to travel but not necessary.Language: English.
