Job Description
Reporting to the Trade Channel Marketing Manager, the Channel Lead role is responsible for developing the category route-to-market strategy: analyzing, understanding, driving, and creating new avenues for sales growth, and new opportunities for making available the category's brands, products, and services to customers/shoppers/ consumers. This role works closely with the brand category marketing teams and the field sales teams, to undertake the critical operations that translate brand and category marketing strategies and plans into detailed operational activities and guidelines, for effective and optimized execution across the various sales channels.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Lead growth strategy development for trade channels and routes-to-market for the company's brands and products.Set guidance for field sales and retail operations teams to execute the marketing strategy and programs in the trade channels and the route-to-market.Set volume forecast, volume allocation plans, and pricing execution detail for the sales team, as aligned with the brand marketing team.
Qualifications
College graduate from any degree3-5+ years experience in trade marketing management, trade channels, or sales and marketing operations planningExposure to customer management, brand marketing, and sales operations a plusExperience in supporting retail operations a plusPreferred Skills Adept in trade marketing especially in the area of trade channel development, channel analysis/ insight, channel growth planningCapable in analyzing sell-in, sell-out/sell-through, and offtake; channel sales forecasting, volume allocations; distribution planningVersed in pricing and commercial analysis, channel P&L analysesExperienced in channel operations supportStrong analytical and strategic thinking skillsSystematic, organized, and detail-orientedDigital native (Spreadsheets, Presentations, Word Processing, Cloud Sharing Platforms)Self-motivated, proactive and assertiveBiased towards action and resultsStrong interpersonal and collaboration skills
