About the Job: Review and assess the manual test cases created for the application under test and provide feedback on suitability for automation to the project teamDesign, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Tosca Testsuite for test automation or other equivalent functional testing tools in compliance with defined QA standards and methodologiesTroubleshoot, debug, and enhance existing automated test scripts as neededReview the work of team members to help ensure quality of the teams deliverablesHelp establish and configure testing environments for executing automated test cases and scenariosExecute automated test scripts in accordance with the agreed scope and scheduleMonitor test results and report discrepancies using defect tracking toolsValidate defect fixesAccurate and timely reporting of test progress, risks & issues in accordance with the project's risk and issue management plansWork with the application team to resolve any issues that arise out of the testing processRecommend improvements to existing policies / procedures and in matters relating to people, processes, and technology (e.g. through active participation in continuous improvement initiatives, quality teams, focus group discussions, root cause analyses, etc.) and then assisting in the implementation of improvementsAssist with manual functional testing as needed; execute manual test cases and scripts for products under development using test management/tracking tools Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent work experienceSolid understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and where testing fits into the processProven hands-on experience with Tosca Testsuite for test automationProficiency in scripting languages such as VBScript or C#Knowledgeable on Tosca Framework (TBox, Classic, etc.)Hands on integration of Tosca with any Test Management tools like QTestExcellent problem-solving and analytical skillsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamFlexibility and willingness to learn new technologies and toolsWilling to work in different time zones, if needed Nice to Have: Tosca certification or other relevant certificationsKnowledge of continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) processesKnowledge of SAP Solution Manager Integration and Tosca Orchestrated ServiceVirtualization (OSV) is a plusExperience with testing web applications, mobile applications, and APIs.
