Job Title: Tireman and Under-Chassis Mechanic

Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Tireman and Under-Chassis Mechanic with expertise in preventive maintenance to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for inspecting, repairing, and maintaining vehicles' tires and under-chassis components while performing routine preventive maintenance to ensure vehicle safety and optimal performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Tire Services:
- Inspect, repair, and replace tires on various vehicles.
- Balance tires and align wheels to ensure proper handling and safety.
- Diagnose and address issues related to tire wear and performance.
- Fix and patch tires with holes.
- Under-Chassis Maintenance:
- Perform inspections and repairs on under-chassis components including suspension systems, steering mechanisms, and exhaust systems.
- Replace or repair parts such as shocks, struts, springs, and bushings.
- Conduct routine checks and adjustments to ensure proper alignment and suspension function.
- Preventive Maintenance:
- Perform regular preventive maintenance tasks including oil changes, fluid checks, and filter replacements.
- Inspect and maintain brake systems, including pads, rotors, and fluid levels.
- Identify potential issues and perform corrective actions to prevent future breakdowns.
- Customer Service:
- Communicate effectively with customers to explain issues, repairs, and maintenance needs.
- Provide recommendations for additional services or repairs based on vehicle condition.
- Safety and Compliance:
- Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
Qualifications:
- Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Tireman and Under-Chassis Mechanic or similar role.
- Proven experience in performing preventive maintenance on various vehicles.
- Technical Skills:
- Strong knowledge of tire repair, alignment, and balancing techniques.
- Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing under-chassis components.
- Familiarity with preventive maintenance procedures and best practices.
- Certifications:
- Tesda Certifiied for automotive course.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- Personal Attributes:
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift and carry heavy items, including tires and parts.
- Capable of working in various conditions, including confined spaces and under vehicles.
SALARY RANGE: Minimum Rate + 4% Commission | Benefits package including lunch and accommodation
WORK LOCATIONS: Sto Tomas Batangas
WORK SCHEDULE: 8am to 5pm working hours Monday to Saturday.
