WORK LOCATIONS: Sto Tomas Batangas
WORK SCHEDULE: 8am to 5pm working hours Monday to Saturday.
Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Tireman and Under-Chassis Mechanic or similar role.
Key Responsibilities: - Tire Services: Inspect, repair, and replace tires on various vehicles.Balance tires and align wheels to ensure proper handling and safety.Diagnose and address issues related to tire wear and performance.Fix and patch tires with holes. - Under-Chassis Maintenance: Perform inspections and repairs on under-chassis components including suspension systems, steering mechanisms, and exhaust systems.Replace or repair parts such as shocks, struts, springs, and bushings.Conduct routine checks and adjustments to ensure proper alignment and suspension function. - Preventive Maintenance: Perform regular preventive maintenance tasks including oil changes, fluid checks, and filter replacements.Inspect and maintain brake systems, including pads, rotors, and fluid levels.Identify potential issues and perform corrective actions to prevent future breakdowns. - Customer Service: Communicate effectively with customers to explain issues, repairs, and maintenance needs.Provide recommendations for additional services or repairs based on vehicle condition. - Safety and Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition and ensure compliance with safety regulations. Qualifications: - Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Tireman and Under-Chassis Mechanic or similar role.Proven experience in performing preventive maintenance on various vehicles. - Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of tire repair, alignment, and balancing techniques.Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing under-chassis components.Familiarity with preventive maintenance procedures and best practices. - Certifications: Tesda Certifiiedfor automotive course.Valid driver's license and clean driving record. - Personal Attributes: Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Excellent communication and customer service skills. Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and carry heavy items, including tires and parts.Capable of working in various conditions, including confined spaces and under vehicles.
