**Job Description**:
The Profit and Loss Accountant is responsible for the thorough, accurate and timely generation of Division Financial Reports.
**FINANCIAL REPORT GENERATION**
Generate thorough, accurate and timely Division Financial Reports and reviews supporting schedules.
Provides thorough, accurate and timely responses to corrections, adjustments and outstanding items in the Division Financial Reports, if any.
**MANAGEMENT REPORTING**
Consolidates all financial information required for the generation of Division Financial Statements.
Preparation of the analysis and presentation materials to support the Division Financial Reports submitted to management with highlights on items with strategic impact to the company performance.
**GENERAL MANAGEMENT**
Reviews the subsidiary ledgers and account analysis for expenses prepared by different sections, AP, Cost and GL reports to ensure that they tally with the general ledger, proper and timely disposition of adjustments/reconciling items.
Identification and implementation of process improvements/controls to avoid recurrence of errors in the Division Financial Statements.
**INTERNAL CUSTOMER**
Ensure effective partnering with Division VPs/COOs, AVP & VP Controller, Site Controller and Division Accountant to be able to communicate critical financial information.
Participation in Division strategic meetings and projects.
Preparation of Division financial studies and reports needed by management to improve results of operation.
Ensures that all schedules are reconciled with the books and are submitted on time.
**Qualifications**:
- Must be a graduate of BS Accountancy, Financial Management, Accounting Technology or any related courses
- Preferably with 1-year experience in supervisory capacity
- Working knowledge of accounting principles and accounting cycles
- Ability to interpret financials data
- Knowledge of Audit principles
- Oral and written communication skills
