Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for mobile applications and API services using industry-standard testing frameworks and tools.
- Collaborate with the development and quality assurance teams to define test automation requirements and strategies for both mobile applications and API services.
- Create and execute automated test scripts at both the UI level for mobile applications and the API level for backend services.
- Analyze test results to identify and report defects, performance issues, and API service anomalies.
- Contribute to the design and implementation of test automation frameworks and processes for both mobile applications and API services.
- Work with cross-functional teams to ensure the quality and reliability of mobile applications and API services throughout the development lifecycle.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of the testing process and methodologies.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Test Automation Engineer or similar role, with a focus on mobile applications and API services.
- Solid understanding of mobile application development, API testing, and testing methodologies.
- Proficiency in test automation tools and frameworks such as Appium, Selenium, RestAssured, Postman, or similar.
- Strong programming skills in languages such as Java, Kotlin, Swift, Python, or others commonly used for mobile and API test automation.
- Experience with creating automated tests at both the UI level for mobile applications and the API level for backend services.
- Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
- Knowledge of version control systems such as Git.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with performance and security testing of mobile applications and API services.
- Familiarity with cloud-based testing platforms and services.
