Test Automation Engineer

We are currently looking for a Test Automation Engineer to design, implement, and maintain test scenarios and tooling to ensure that the products we develop for our customers are of the highest quality. These products are most commonly web applications or (AWS-based) event-driven, back-end infrastructure; although we develop mobile, smart TV and set-top box apps too.

The role involves collaborating with architects, developers, product owners and other stakeholders in order to understand the most effective approach to ensuring product quality, and to facilitate rapid and safe feature development. You will develop and execute automated test strategies of various types: e2e/system tests, smoke tests, UAT tests, NFR testing etc.

Ability to self-organise with excellent attention to detail

Good verbal and written english
Must-have technical skills:

Expertise in implementing test automation

Experience of test automation frameworks and tooling e.g. Selenium, Robot Framework, Gherkin, synthetic monitoring etc.

Proficiency in at least one scripting language e.g. JavaScript or Python

CI/CD tooling e.g. GitHub Actions, BitBucket Pipelines, GitLab or similar
