Responsible for designing and implementing data architecture solutions that meet business needs. They will work closely with the IT department, business leaders, and stakeholders to understand business requirements and design solutions that align with the organization's goals and objectives. The Data Architect will be responsible for ensuring that data solutions are scalable, secure, and reliable.
Key Responsibilities
Work with business leaders and stakeholders to understand business requirements related to data Design data architecture solutions that align with the organization's goals and objectives Develop and maintain a data architecture roadmap for the organization Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of data solutions Define and implement data policies, standards, and procedures Oversee the implementation of data solutions to ensure they are scalable, secure, and reliable Evaluate emerging technologies and make recommendations for their adoption Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards related to data Provide guidance and support to technical teams during the development and implementation of data solutions Communicate data solutions to non-technical stakeholders in a clear and concise manner Requirements
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field 5+ years of experience in data architecture or a related field Experience with database design and development Knowledge of data modeling, data warehousing, and data integration Strong understanding of cybersecurity and data privacy best practices Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and in a team environment Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously Good To Have
Certification in data architecture or a related field Experience with Big Data technologies such as Hadoop and Spark, Data Lake, or similar Experience with Agile and DevOps methodologies Experience in a regulated industry such as banking, finance, or government
