Technician/Operator - Water And Wastewater Treatment

Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and responsible Technician/Operator to oversee the efficient operation, maintenance, and monitoring of water and wastewater treatment facilities. The ideal candidate will ensure compliance with environmental regulations, maintain equipment, and manage daily treatment processes.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate and maintain water and wastewater treatment systems.
Monitor equipment performance and adjust processes as needed.
Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot equipment issues.
Collect and analyze water samples to ensure compliance with standards.
Document daily operations, including flow rates, chemical dosages, and system performance.
Follow safety protocols and regulatory requirements.
Assist in the repair and replacement of equipment and system components.
Conduct inspections to identify potential problems and implement solutions.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent (technical/vocational training preferred).
Experience in operating water and wastewater treatment systems (minimum 1-2 years preferred).
Knowledge of water treatment processes, chemicals, and equipment.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to interpret technical documents, manuals, and blueprints.
Certification in water and wastewater treatment operations (advantageous).
Physically fit to perform tasks such as lifting, climbing, and standing for extended periods.
