Technician

• Performs colormatching job as per established formula guidelines and procedures.
• Prepares pertinent panel and paint samples for every assigned project.
• Records and submits colormatching formula and property evaluation data in laboratory colormatching form for every new product developed.
• Ensures accuracy of submitted samples and pertinent paint data for every assigned project.
• Ensure that colormatching formula is confirmed before finalization.
• Prepares small production batches in the laboratory.
• Assists chemists / technical staff in the performance of special projects / activities as required.
• Coordinates well with other technical staff relative to the performance of his assignment.
• Prepares monthly summary report of all assigned projects and activities.
• Report any problems and concerns to immediate superior relative to the performance of his assignment.
• Withdraws materials from Warehouse in the absence of the assigned stockman.
• Carries out 5S activities at all the times inside the company particularly in specific assignment.
• Must strictly follow company's safety, environmental and quality policies and procedures.
• Performs other related duties that may be assigned from time to time.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION:
At least College Level.

EXPERIENCE:
Must have working experience in Paint/Coating industry.

SKILLS:
Color matching
Must have analytical and interpersonal skills.
Must have good communication skills.
Excellent team player and able to multi-task.
