Job Description
Ensuring consistency across documents in terms of style, terminology, and format, to maintain professional and standardized communication across various types of technical documentation.

Actively updating and managing documentation to reflect changes in systems, policies, or procedures, and using version control systems to track these updates.

Working across multiple departments, including IT and business units, to gather input from subject matter experts (SMEs) and ensure that documentation aligns with the needs of different stakeholders.

Creating or sourcing visuals like diagrams, charts, and screenshots to help clarify technical content, making it more accessible for end-users.

Assist in project documentation planning, especially for large-scale IT projects. This might include outlining documentation requirements, timelines, and resource needs.

Reviewing documents for accuracy, readability, and usefulness to ensure high standards are maintained across all resources.

Non-Exemption/Must Have
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

Must have minimum 3 years of experience as a Technical Writer in IT Security field. (Non-negotiable)

Must have understanding of IT and information security terms. (Non-negotiable)

Must have knowledge with with IT Security products. (Non-negotiable)

Must have knowledge in BSP, PCIDSS and Swift regulations/standards. (Non-negotiable)

Must have knowledge in Cobit, ISO 27001 and NIST. (Non-negotiable)

Must have experience with tools commonly used in technical writing such as Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat, content management systems, and version control systems. (Non-negotiable)

Must have experience in writing and publishing help text, technical manuals, installation instructions, and release notes. (Non-negotiable)

Proficiency in gathering information and interpreting software business and technical designs for documentation purposes.

Must have the capability to comprehend complex software architectures and development processes, and effectively communicate them to solution architects and developers.

Must have skill in creating, testing, and troubleshooting online help for software applications to ensure accuracy and effectiveness.

Must be consistent delivery of high-quality documents with minimal errors, including thorough editing for clarity, accuracy, and organization.

Capacity to meet deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously, while adhering to project timelines.

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. (Non-negotiable)
