Functions:
- Documentation Creation: Develop, write, and edit technical documentation, including user manuals, developer guides, API documentation, installation guides, and system operations.
-Content Simplification: Translate complex technical concepts and instructions into clear, concise, and understandable content for a non-technical audience.
-Collaboration: Work closely with product teams, subject matter experts (SMEs), and engineers to gather necessary information and ensure accuracy in documentation.
Content Management: Maintain and update documentation as new features are developed or changes are made to existing products.
-User Research: Conduct interviews with users and developers to better understand the user experience and create more intuitive documentation.
-Standards and Style Guides: Adhere to and help establish documentation standards and style guides to ensure consistency and quality across all materials.
-Review and Edit: Review and edit content created by other team members for clarity, grammar, and technical accuracy.
Tools and Software: Use content management systems (CMS), document creation tools, and other relevant software to manage and publish documentation.
Qualifications:
-Bachelor's graduate
-2 to 5 years of experience as a Technical Writer or in a similar role, preferably in a technology-driven company.
Technical Skills:
- 2 to 5 years of experience with documentation tools (e.g., MadCap Flare, Adobe FrameMaker, MS Word).
-2 to 5 years of experience with programming languages, APIs, and software development lifecycle (SDLC).
- 2 to 5 years of experience with content management systems (CMS) and version control systems (e.g., Git).
-2 to 5 years of experience with Agile methodologies
-2 to 5 years of experience in a specific domain such as IT Service Management, Distributed Computing, Cloud Computing, Cybersecurity, or Enterprise software, IT Asset Management principles
-Knowledge of UX/UI principles
Writing Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a strong command of the English language.
