Job Description Coordinates and monitors shipboard PMS program of his assigned vessel to ensure and verify implementation in accordance with the IMS Code for the optimum performance of vessel equipment, machinery, electrical/electronic system and other cargo handling equipment, including its integrated warning/alarm system. Supervises on-site ship repairs in coordination with approved contractors and ensures their optimum performance.
Job Qualifications Graduate of Marine or Mechanical EngineeringKnowledgeable in local shipping industryExperience in ship managementKnowledgeable in 4-stroke marine diesel enginesA previous Chief Engineer is an advantageFamiliar with AutoCAD is a plusMust be willing to be assigned to any area of operation
