Duties and Responsibilities: As a Technical SEO Specialist , you are responsible for conducting
comprehensive technical SEO audits, providing recommendations
and implementing some of the changes across a broad range of
clients within an agency environment. You'll be a self-motivated
individual with a track record of overachievement working on SEO
projects
You will liaise internally with the dev and SEO team as well as the
Account Management team who manage the client relationship.
The role consists of, but is not limited to: ·Conduct comprehensive technical SEO audits of websites,
using industry tools, to identify areas for improvement and
provide recommendations for optimisation
·Understand the implications of errors and how to implement
technical SEO best practices, including redirects, alt tags,
optimising website structure and code, improving website
speed and performance, and ensuring mobile-friendliness
·Collaborate with content teams to ensure that content is
optimised for search engines and aligned with SEO
strategies, including structured data
·Monitor and analyse website traffic, rankings, and other
metrics to identify opportunities for improvement and track
progress over time
·Work closely with development teams to implement
technical SEO changes and ensure that website updates
don't negatively impact SEO performance
·Create and maintain technical SEO documentation and
guidelines
·Provide technical SEO support and guidance to other
members of the team as required
·Conduct keyword research, identifying opportunities and
keyword mapping
·Complete Competitor Analysis
·Stay up to date with the latest industry trends and best
practices in technical SEO and search engine algorithms
Solid understanding and experience of: ·Local SEO ranking factors
·On-site and off-site ranking factors
·SEO tools such as SEM Rush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog
·Google Search Console, Analytics, Tag Manager
Requirements: · Minimum 3 years ' experience executing and managing
Technical SEO across various industries within an agency
environment
·Excellent attention to detail and the ability to effectively
multi-task in a deadline driven environment – managing a
large portfolio of clients
·Strong communication skills and the ability to articulate
complex digital marketing strategies.
·Ability to learn new business/industry types quickly and
apply this knowledge to digital marketing initiatives and
achieving client goals.
·Strong verbal and written communication skills
·Advanced working knowledge of SEO tools, including
Screaming Frog, Google Search Console, Google Tag
Manager, SEM rush
·Speak and write fluent English professionally
