Brief Description of the Role:
 
A technical sales representative, or specialist, is a professional who sells scientific or technical products.
They understand the technical materials they work with, and they can discuss these items with customers.
 
Job Description:
Analysing customers' needs and recommending products Discussing products with customers and explaining technical concepts simply
Writing reports and proposals for clients related to technical products
Finding new customers and creating a sales relationship with potential buyers
Building relationships with clients and encouraging long-term clients
Connecting with customers after a sales pitch to answer questions or provide advice
Making sales pitches at demonstrations or conference events to persuade an audience to buy our products and services
Meeting sale quotas and commission goals
Traveling to meet with clients or to lead instructional demonstrations for a product
Negotiating prices with customers
Tracking sales and sharing sales information with a manager or team lead
Researching the current market trends and learning about new technology products
Conduct company and sales presentations to potential customers - Architects, Structural Engineers, General Contractors, and
Clients.Prepare Budgetary Costs / estimates, quotations and bid proposals
Monitor the status and development of projects with concerned units, beginning site survey until project completion, ensuring that target dates are met
Conduct field work to meet with current and prospective clients
Attend sales calls, negotiation, and technical meetings
Prepares weekly sales forecasts of customers being handled and monthly reports
Qualifications:
Would have at least 2 years Experience in sales and engineering or other related.
Can Start immediately
Strong customer service, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
Excellent organizational, research, and multitasking abilities.
Strong negotiating and problem-solving skills.
A professional appearance.
A valid driver's license.
Marketing Graduate or Engineering Related Courses.
HONEST and creative.
Can work with minimum supervision.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Willing to travel.
