Technical Estimator

JOB TITLE: TECHNICAL ESTIMATORJOB PROFILE AND DESCRIPTION:Technical Estimator responsibility is to aid and support the sales team thru technicalsupport such as technical presentation, inspection and pre-bidding. TechnicalEstimator main responsibility is to provide technical and commercially competentproposalPRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITY:• Review and study purchase request delegated by the repair and servicesupervisor• Prior to inspection the technical estimator should prepare necessary materials,equipment, gate pass and etc. prior from the actual schedule of inspection• Attend pre-bidding and site inspection with the intent of gathering necessarydata needed for costing and creating a good impression with the end-user• Create technical and commercially competent proposal• Create cost sheet, Gantt chart and any other necessary data needed for thesupport of your commercial proposal• Conduct research works on new methods, technologies and test equipment thatcould improve the operation of the company• Assist the sales in improving the company's revenue thru technical presentationand technical recommendations• Ensure that all proposal is with-in the company's level and capabilitySkills and Specifications Requirements:• Graduate of BS Electrical and Mechanical Engineering (license is an advantage)• Good written and oral communication skills• Knowledge in basic and advance computer programs such as:• Ms. Word• Ms. Excel• Power point presentation• Auto cad• Etc.• Willing to work beyond office hours• Willing to travel• Can work under pressure• Possess leadership and management skills
