******** T03:36:21.289017+00:******** T16:00:00+00:00 Job Description The position entails providing dedicated support to the Technical Compliance Manager in overseeing the Performance-Based Regulation (PBR) obligations of Distribution Utilities (DUs), technical applications, and compliance submissions mandated by governmental bodies. Responsibilities also include assisting in the monitoring of DUs' adherence to technical and customer service standards established by governmental authorities, as well as offering assistance to DU teams during performance audits.
This role serves as a critical link in ensuring that DUs operate in alignment with regulatory requirements while optimizing their technical and service performance.
Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Econ or related course At least 3 years' related experience with exposure to regulatory initiatives and technical compliance with ERC, DOE, and other government agencies' requirements and with knowledge of Distribution Unit operations Knowledge on power distribution industry, its systems and processes Knowledge of ERC rules and regulations and compliance requirements Knowledge of relevant computer applications
(e.g. word processing, spreadsheet, and

Provides physical, strategic, and technical support to the Thermal BU in securing and maintaining permits and licenses, as well as in filings and submissions of reports to different government agencies and local government units having jurisdiction over the concerned BU site. The position supports the Compliance Supervisor/Manager in contract and case management. The position acts as the primary POC between the BU and the CSUs vis-a-vis commercial contract management from preparation to execution (AS, BCQ, PSA, ESA). The position handles and strategically resolves compliance and legal issues escalated/raised by other Thermal BU departments and CSUs, subject to the Compliance Supervisor/Manager's clearance. The position provides support to the Compliance Supervisor/Manager in crafting roll out plans for the BU with respect to new/changing laws and regulations. Secure copies of legal requirements from regulatory agencies, affiliate organizations, and special interest groups Identify applicable legal requirement, consult/inform complying department/section. If compliant, monitor/execute assigned compliance. If not compliant, formulate a compliance plan to comply with the requirement Spearheads the commercial contracts due diligence in coordination with CSUs and BU Depts Monitor, digest, and cascade upcoming power industry requirements from regulatory agencies, affiliate organizations, and special interest groups Conduct periodic deep dive audit of the compliance monitoring systems of the different departments Develops and maintains relationships with internal and external compliance stakeholders to promote Thermal business objectives Provide support to the Lands Team on Lands Matters, particularly those relating to the site being handled.
