Knowledge and enforcement of ISO 9001 – 2015 and professional procurement processes. Measures are competitive and reliable performance for on-time, complete, and accurate delivery with the best value meeting requirements at the lowest cost.Responsible for buying outside machining, weld/fabrication, cables, OEM electrical components.Strategic sourcing and vendor quote request.Ethically manage the buying process with specified target pricing, cost, quality, and delivery targets and communicate status to stakeholders.Partner with Project Manager and other departments to achieve best possible value available from supply base to ensure continuous supply of required goods and materials to reduce risk or impact on business operations.Negotiate contracts and review opportunities to reduce costs using negotiation and procurement best practice tools and methods.Manage schedule changes, remediation plans, and ensure changes are reflected within the appropriate system.Ensure that a consistent approach is used for all supplier relationships.Ensure compliance to all company guidelines and purchasing policies and procedures.Prepare purchase orders that are aligned with final negotiations with suppliers, targets and requirements.Identify Import/Export rules and regulations to ensure compliance.Performs other duties as assigned. Strong technical purchasing expertise and understanding within a captive distributor, system integration tier supplier, and robot original equipment manufactures' supply chain management global environment.Excellent organization, and ability to maintain accurate, detailed documentation of multiple tasks in a fast pace environment and within ISO ******** compliance.Strong negotiation, communication skills (verbal and written), interpersonal and influencing skills.Knowledge and experience relating to documentation, logistics, insurance, packing, customs brokers and freight for international transactions.Strong knowledge and experience in Risk Management and Supplier Development.Knowledge of Trade agreements (i.e. NAFTA) and Import/Export rules and regulationsAbility to problem solve in a collaborative environment.Ability to add value and reduce costs.Knowledge of relevant purchasing and sourcing concepts.Proficiency in MS Office products (Word, MS, PowerPoint) ERP systems (SAP, Microsoft Dynamics (AXAPTA), and sales database (SalesForce) products, and strong Excel skills
