State/Province National Capital Region (Manila) Country Philippines Job Description As a Senior Technical Business Analyst, you will be responsible for analyzing and translating business requirements into technical specifications, ensuring the effective implementation of data-driven solutions. This role requires a deep understanding of both business processes and data management, as well as the ability to collaborate with various stakeholders, including business users, data engineers, and IT professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Requirement Analysis:
Collaborate with business users to understand data migration needs, business rules, and validation requirements.
Elicit and document detailed data requirements, ensuring alignment with business goals.
2. Data Analysis:
Analyze existing data structures and formats in legacy systems.
Conduct data profiling and assessment to identify data quality issues and potential challenges.
3. Data Mapping and Transformation:
Work closely with data engineers and technical teams to map data from source systems to target systems.
4. Documentation:
Prepare and maintain comprehensive documentation related to data processes, data models, and business requirements.
Document data migration requirements, mapping specifications, and transformation rules.
Facilitate knowledge transfer from project teams to relevant stakeholders for ongoing maintenance and support.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business users, developers, and data scientists, to achieve project goals.
Monitor resource utilization and adjust allocation as needed to meet project objectives.
Requirements Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field. Proven experience as a Business Analyst in data management projects. Strong understanding of data modelling, mapping, and transformation processes. Proficiency in SQL and data querying. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Should have done projects with customer-facing roles. Should have a minimum 4+ years of experience in the industry.
