Responsible for expeditious review of recommendations made by Credit Officers in compliance with the Bank's policies and procedures while meeting acceptable TAT. Responsible in conducting updates on credit policies and provide sound credit decision. Ensures accuracy in the file update processes in the Bank's Front End System in accordance with the set standards and procedures.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIESCredit EvaluationReviews recommendation made by Credit Officer in compliance with the Bank's policies and procedures. Recommends appropriate credit decision with compliance to the Bank's policies and procedures. Establishes and maintains an operational and sound credit decision that expedites decision on loan applications within approved credit standards and parameters. Ensures that policies and procedures are interpreted and carried out correctly. Gives relevant feedback with regard to NAPU and credit investigation matters that affect quality of evaluation and turnaround time (TAT).
Supervision of Credit Officers and Credit AssociatesAdministratively supervise Credit Officer to ensure that credit and performance standards are met through active use of MIS reports. Devise ways to improve performance in terms of Approval Rate, Turnaround time (TAT) and Error Tolerance. Performs quality analysis based on results of quality assurance review for Credit Officers and Credit Associates. Take on the roles such as Credit Officer functions and Credit Associate functions when needed. Ensures proper dispatch of accounts of Credit Assistant and Credit Officer. Ensures that accounts undergo thorough pre-screening steps, subjected to various checks based on guidelines. Formulates strategy for day to day operations involving line balancing and other techniques in order to maximize Team's productivity. Propose procedural and system enhancements. Consults PBC Section Head on sensitive work issues and concerns and recommends possible solutions. Coordinates properly with external service providers. Ensures all billings are processed in accordance with agreed turnaround time.
OthersEnsures accuracy and proper handling of all assigned tasks and orders from management in accordance with Bank policies and procedures. Performs other tasks that may be assigned from time to time.
KEY QUALIFICATIONSBachelor's degree relevant to the job. Preferably 3 – 5 years experience in credit evaluation and review. Must have attained substantial level of proficiency in credit analysis.
