Tax Officer - Cpa For Rental And Leasing/40-50K/Pasay

Overall Function:
Ensures the Company's compliance to taxation laws and regulations

Requirements:
Graduate of Bs in Accountancy, CPA
At least 3 yrs experience

Specific Duties and Responsibilities:
• Reviews check vouchers to ensure that proper withholding taxes are applied
• Ensures that correct withholding taxes are deducted by our clients from their payments to the company
Monitor prompt and accurate tax remittances and submissions of BIR Returns/requirements/reports
1. Prepares the quarterly and annual income tax remittances (including Summary of Alphalist of withholding taxes)
2. Prepares Vat Returns and attachment (Summary list of Purchase/Sales)
3. Prepares the quarterly and annual remittance of Fringe benefits
4. Prepares the Documentary Stamp Tax filing for transactions subject to DST Computes the monthly current and deferred income tax provisions
Prepares the tax related disclosure and supplementary reports in AFS
Attends to tax queries both from internal and external clients
Take charge of securing annual BIR registration of books of accounts of Head Office and all branches nationwide and ensures that information updates are promptly made
Compute the monthly tax analysis
Complies with the requirements of BIR examination and tax assessment, i.e. reconciliation, replies to assessment ad confirmation and submission of documents
On behalf of the company, liaises with the BIR and other government agencies on tax matters, in coordination with the Parent company
Performs tax research and updates and advisory for AFD and other concerned units
