Tax Manager

Key Responsibilities: Oversee and manage all tax-related activities, including the preparation, review, and submission of tax returns (income tax, VAT, withholding tax, etc.) for both individual and corporate clients. Provide strategic tax planning, advice, and compliance services for clients to optimize tax liabilities and ensure adherence to the latest tax laws and regulations. Assist in tax audits and represent clients in dealings with the Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR). Stay updated with the latest tax legislation and regulations and communicate changes to clients as necessary. Manage and mentor junior tax accountants and support staff, ensuring quality control over tax compliance and reporting. Develop and maintain client relationships, providing high-quality and timely service. Identify tax-saving opportunities and recommend strategies to clients for long-term planning and tax optimization. Coordinate with external auditors and handle tax matters for special projects and engagements. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; Certified Public Accountant (CPA) is a PLUS. Minimum of 5 years of experience in tax compliance, preparation, and advisory roles, preferably within an accounting firm. Extensive knowledge of the Philippine tax system and experience dealing with the Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR). Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to manage multiple clients and deadlines efficiently. Proficiency in tax preparation software and Microsoft Office applications. Pay: Php40,000.00 - Php50,000.00 per month
