Tax Assistant Manager

**Responsibilities**:

- Examines documents and financial records of all types to determine the correct taxes of the company and its affiliates
- Review tax returns to ensure correct and on-time submission
- Provides support with tax-related projects
- Monitors developments in tax laws and memorandum of regulatory bodies
- Reviews payroll of Group employees, as well as compliance with statutory contributions
- Makes recommendation for regulatory compliance and tax efficiency
- Coordinates with external auditors during annual and interim audits
- Ensures FS and ITR are filed on time with the appropriate regulatory body
- Execute ad-hoc analysis and data mining as needed by manager
- Assists Finance and Accounting Head during tax and other regulatory audit
- Manages and mentors' members of the team to higher level of effectiveness and engagement
- Displays an awareness of potential planning opportunities associated with the local tax environment by identifying and escalating them as appropriate

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- Preferably **Certified Public Accountant (CPA)**:

- 3-4 years of experience and extensive knowledge of tax law.
- Working experience in the Big 4 Audit firms is an advantage with a real estate client.
- Can work independently or with others in a team.
- Must have excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Can multitask, prioritize, and delegate effectively.
- Proficient in spreadsheet and accounting systems.
- Self-driven and able to thrive under tight deadlines and withstand taxing workloads.
- Strong accounting ability, Analytical and Research Skills.
- Excellent Written and oral communication skills.
- Strong knowledge of tax code, compliance and procedures for corporations.
- Willing to work on-site in McKinley, Taguig City.
